what is homeroom

hello and welcome to homeoom! we’re building an app that helps you and your friends hang out in real time. no more endless group chats with no conclusions, no more back and forth texting your best friend who moved to bushwick only to figure out you were both free last Wednesday, no more awkward partiful invites (yeah we said it). spending time with your people shouldn’t be this hard and what ever happened to spontaneous hangouts?

who are we

Jade is a fullstack software engineer building insurance optimizing code, which she’s way too fun to be doing 40 hrs/week. she has two insane cats and lives in Greenpoint in a castle all to herself. she has a lot of friends within a 1 mi radius but finds it unnecessarily difficult to coordinate a time to see all of them. more on that later.

Tamar is not a fullstack software engineer but routinely ruins engineer’s days by asking them to build insurance optimizing code in her CX role. she lives in Park Slope, loves to host, and reads to relax. she always wished there was an easier way to plan casual hangouts, which brings us to homeroom...
